January 2008 – Spain!
What an amazing start to the year it has been on a personal level. I found close family I never knew existed, and flew to Spain to meet them. It has been an absolute emotional roller coaster for me, full of tears and joy. On a beady note, I can honestly say if I hadn’t had my beads with me in the hotel room in Madrid, then I would have gone mad. I wasn’t able to sleep as I had so much going on in my head, so I beaded until my eyes closed. This little Crystal Rosette pendant was made from the last remaining crystals I had taken with me to Spain. This cross was one of the first things I made late at night, and before I left Spain I gave it to my sister.
