Isabella Necklace

IsabellaOnce more on a quest for those beautiful, flat back crystals I discovered yet another style called mosaic stones. I can only describe them as squashed pyramids with the top sliced off! But they were perfect for Isabella, another addition to the Medici Collection. I had just finished this first Isabella necklace when I arrived in Milwaukee to teach at the Bead & Button Show, 2012, and I couldn’t wait to find some more colours in these crystals to work up another one. I was delighted to find them in Dorado, Peridot, Bermuda Blue and Aqua and have now finished them all! I don’t know which one I like the best! The little square components of Isabella also make lovely earrings and this is the only time I will wear a necklace with matching earrings as they aren’t over the top!

I taught the Isabella necklace at both the Great British Bead Show and the Bead & Button Show, 2013.
